Liquid Waterproofing Project in London

LIQUID MEMBRANE WATRPROOFING PROJECT, LONDON

Many liquid applied membranes can be used as overlays to existing waterproofing on flat roofs or profiled sheeting systems like profiled metal or fibre cement sheets. Liquid applied membranes are seamless and fully bond to the substrate making them ideal for use over waterproofing systems that have failed at laps or seams or are coming to the end of their economic lives.

The manufacturer provided lws with fullproof specification for the overlay of this metal roof. Giving the ease of application this 1000m2 metal deck roof was turned around in just 3 weeks. The roof was first jet washed and wire brushed to remove any debris, flaking powder coat or rust residue. Once cleaned a layer of metal primer was applied to all screw penetrations where existing rubber seals had worn away. A fibrous waterproofing membrane is then applied over the screw to reseal the penetrations. Once the deck has been fully prepared, waterproofing then commences and gives us a seamless finish over all tricky troughs and angle changes leaving this very aphetically pleasing outcome. LWS are very proud of this finish and believe the pictures speak for themselves.

Sealer coats are also available in light colours that help to reduce heat stress on the existing system.
