LIQUID ROOFING IN LONDON
LWS were given the task to overlay this TPO single ply system with a chosen liquid.
This fast curing polyurethane product is applied with roller or trowel and spread over existing failing roof to create a monolithic, seamless waterproof film.
LWS started by cleaning and jet washing the affected areas on the roof removing all dirt and Algae to give a suitable substrate for primer to be laid.
Primer is then roller applied to all upstands and protrusions in a picture frame method to give a chemical bond for the waterproofing to adhere too.
Once primed, liquid waterproofing membrane was then installed to roofing area at a 1.5/2ml depth in line with manufacturers specification. To complete a seamless, watertight finish.
Once cured new anti slip matts were installed to instructed areas to create a safe path for any maintenance teams wishing to work on plant situated on the roof.
