SINGLE-PLY FLAT ROOF PROJECT, BRENTFORD
This project is a fantastic example of rectifying a failed single ply roofing system. We detected a number of defects throughout the flat roof area with splits, cracks and various penetrations in the original system. We also detected defects to the outlets which had caused water ingress into the building.
Our team at LWS first jet washed the entire roof area removing all dirt and debris, we then highlighted all the defects and sealed them with a high performance putty. Reinforced waterproofing system membrane was then applied across 850m2 creating a completely seamless finish to this very detailed roof. The client chose (RAL colour 7032) which is a lighter finish to reduce heat build up, which will in return save energy costs for the client. To finish off the project we applied (RAL colour 6018) highlighting the designated walkways with an anti-slip finish. Upon completion of all waterproofing systems we reinstated all protective safety handrail barriers.
