Fire Station Roof Project in London

FIRE STATION LIQUID ROOF PROJECT, LONDON

This bespoke roof was specified for a liquid overlay, over the existing zinc capping with the client wanting to keep all the aesthetics and look of the previous roofing system.

Prep work consisted of jet washing any dirt and debris off the roof. Followed by wire brushing of the loose flakes on the existing metal deck.

All gaps filled using westwoods surfacing putty to create a smooth and seamless deck.

Once prepped Waterproofing was installed with a premium matted fleece embedded for strength and movement purposes. All laps and cuts were made specifically with a rustic appearance in mind, giving the look of a pitched zinc roof.

A gunmetal sealer coat was applied over the top to protect the roof from thermal uv rays and give a matted metal zinc finish.
